I also really like this site becuase the membership is very diverse in age and race, however it is a good site for Christian singles because there tends to be only honest, moral people that join this site. I would recommend AmericanSingles.com for any Christian single that is over 18 and is looking for nice singles in their area.
The Good:
- Offers a large, diverse membership that consists mainly of really good people that are looking for other singles that share there frame of mind. This makes American Singles a really good website because the majority of their members are Christians.
- Very simple to sign up and you can start searching the members immediately, easily finding all of the Christian singles that are online at that time.
- Let you send e-cards to other members and has very active message boards, and chat rooms that help you stay active in the online dating community.
- They are practically as large and offer as many services and features as Match.com and eHarmony however the full membership costs much less.
The Not So Good:
- You are quite limited in exactly how many of the really neat features that you are allowed to access with a free membership. However, when you upgrade to even the base membership which is quite inexpensive you are granted access to much more.
- Not all of the members on this site is Christian and you can't keep non-Christians from trying to make contact with you, so it is good to put in your profile if you are only interested in a spiritually based relationship.
- There are more young members that people over the age of 35 so if you are from the over forty agegroup I would suggest trying one of the other sites that we review.
Overall:
In my opinion, AmericanSingles.com is definitely one of the best internet dating sites out there. They have a long and established reputation with many satisfied customers that found love for half the cost of some other sites.
